Our Future Home!

  In 2018, after over 30 years of fundraising and planning, Carriage House Players purchased a building (301 Market Street) adjacent to the public square. The theater group is now in the process of converting this building into a community theater/event center and their official business office. The renovated building will also be available to rent for private events, creating revenue that will assist in the operational cost and maintenance of the facility. Carriage House Players proposes to renovate its newly purchased building to provide a venue for theater productions, special events, and arts related classrooms. The building is approximately 30,000 square feet covering 3 levels and will be renovated in three phases. Ample parking is adjacent to the building and on the street front. Once the building is renovated it will accommodate all the needs of the organization including a performing arts theater, office space, community event center, instructional classes, and an adequate scene shop and costume room. Once Phase I of the renovation is completed, it will serve as an event center for community and social events accommodating 140 people. The event center will include a kitchen suitable for catered events. This is a major undertaking but the end result will be something the entire community can enjoy!
